Welcome to 2001

I don't mean the year 2001 as all of you know we have now moved to 2008. Welcome to day 2001! You probably don't know it, but it has now been 2001 days since Alabama beat Auburn in football. So to Kirk, and Terry and Benji it is 2001 and counting.

New Sex Survey

Apparently the researchers at Penn State University have come out with some little known information in this recent sex survey. The information below is taken directly from the article posted on the Penn State web site.

- Satisfactory sexual intercourse for couples lasts from 3 to 13 minutes, contrary to popular fantasy about the need for hours of sexual activity, according to a survey of U.S. and Canadian sex therapists.

Penn State Erie researchers Eric Corty and Jenay Guardiani conducted a survey of 50 full members of the Society for Sex Therapy and Research, which include psychologists, physicians, social workers, marriage/family therapists and nurses who have collectively seen thousands of patients over several decades.

Thirty-four, or 68 percent, of the group responded and rated a range of time amounts for sexual intercourse, from penetration of the vagina by the penis until ejaculation, that they considered adequate, desirable, too short and too long.

The average therapists’ responses defined the ranges of intercourse activity times: "adequate," from 3-7 minutes; "desirable," from 7-13 minutes; "too short" from 1-2 minutes; and "too long" from 10-30 minutes.

So in reading the survey it appears that most people responded that it was "desirable" for intercourse activity to only last from 7 to 13 minutes. However, they did not make it clear in the survey if that 7 to 13 minutes actually included the 5 minutes that men usually spend begging for the sex to begin with.

Got #4 yesterday...........

I was fortunate enough to record my fourth hole in one yesterday on Sunday, January 27th, 2008. The ace came on the 13th hole at Terrapin Hills country club. I used my six iron for the 160 yard shot and it hit about a foot from the hole and scooted right into the cup. We had a five people in our group and our group included David Gwarjanski, Terry Hawkins, Brant Middlebrooks, and Benji Wilmon. We have a standing bet that if you get a hole in one while playing in the same group you win $100 from each person. Brant has opted out of the bet so I wound up with $300 from the other three guys. After buying the beer in the bar after the round I still cleared about $200. Pretty hefty bar tab but darn will worth it.
