They Grow Up So Fast....

I was going thru some of our pictures and I came across these two. They were both taken at the Snake River overlook in Wyoming with the Tetons in the background. The first one was taken the summer of 2002 when we went to the Moosehead Ranch with my mother and father. The second picture was taken this summer when we went to the same ranch with Susan's mother and father and the rest of her family. Our kids probably don't think a lot about it right now but someday they will look back and see just how special those times were when they got to spend those moments with their grandparents.

The Three Blind Mice

These three idiots continue to push for Ohio State, USC, Michigan and even Notre Dame to be ranked ahead of my Auburn Tigers. In order of appearance they are:

Lou Holtz - Sweet Lou's coaching record at South Carolina was 33 wins with 37 losses. Lou has a gift. The gift of leaving a program just prior to the NCAA finding his university guilty of recruiting violations. Warning -- Do not watch Lou's pre-game show on a high definition TV. The many wrinkles in his face look like craters.

Kirk Herbstreit - Former Ohio State quarterback who still lives in Columbus, Ohio. Also highlights his hair with blonde streaks. Enough said.

Lee Corso - This bozo has a career college coaching record of 73 wins, 83 losses and 6 ties. If you want to make some money on the weekends just be sure and go opposite of his Saturday morning picks on ESPN Gameday.

Randy Rogers Band... Get This CD!

Over the past three years I have really started to get in to a lot of the music coming out of Texas. With the trash that is coming out of Nashville these days it is only natural to look elsewhere for good music, and there is a lot of great stuff coming out of the lonestar state. The Randy Rogers Band release their latest CD "Just a Matter of Time" tomorrow. These guys are tight musically and play great country music. You won't hear any Trace Adkins rap or Kenny Chesney junk on this CD. These guys were just signed by Mercury Records and this is there first national realease. There last CD, "Rollercoaster" was released in 2004 and is some more music that I would highly recommend. We have been fortunate enough to catch their live show twice and will always try to catch them when they get close to Fort Payne.
